Roamavia
Refund Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Overview
Roamavia provides prepaid eSIM connectivity and account credit for use with supported mobile networks around the world.
We want refunds to be straightforward and fair. This policy explains when you may request a refund and when a refund may not be available because connectivity, eSIM provisioning or account credit has already been supplied or used.
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
2. Before your eSIM is supplied
If you have paid but Roamavia has not yet provisioned or supplied your eSIM, you may contact us to request cancellation and a refund.
If Roamavia is unable to supply the eSIM or fulfil your purchase, we will either resolve the issue, provide an appropriate replacement, or refund the affected payment where required.
3. Once an eSIM has been supplied
An eSIM is a digital product that may be supplied immediately after payment.
Where applicable, before immediate digital supply begins you may be asked to expressly agree that Roamavia can begin supplying the digital product immediately and to acknowledge the effect this may have on your statutory cancellation rights.
Once an eSIM has been provisioned, issued or installed, a refund may not be available simply because you no longer wish to use it. We will still consider refunds where the eSIM is faulty, materially not as described, or where applicable law requires us to provide one.
4. Roamavia balance and top-ups
Roamavia balance is prepaid credit used to purchase mobile data through your Roamavia eSIM.
If a top-up has been successfully added to your Roamavia account but none of that credit has been used, you may contact us to request a refund. Eligibility will depend on the circumstances of the purchase and your applicable consumer rights.
We will not normally refund credit that has already been used to purchase or consume mobile data, except where required by law or where the underlying service was faulty.
5. One-time eSIM setup fee
Your first Roamavia purchase may include a one-time eSIM setup fee. This covers the creation and provisioning of your Roamavia eSIM.
If the eSIM has not yet been provisioned and your purchase is cancelled or refunded, the setup fee may also be refundable.
Once the eSIM has been successfully provisioned, the setup fee will not normally be refundable unless the eSIM is faulty, cannot be supplied as described, or applicable law requires a refund.
6. Coverage and device compatibility
Before purchasing, you are responsible for checking that your device supports eSIM technology, is not network locked, and is compatible with the networks you intend to use.
Coverage and network availability depend on third-party mobile network operators and may vary by location, device, congestion, signal conditions and other factors outside Roamavia's control.
This does not limit your rights where the service supplied by Roamavia is faulty or materially not as described.
7. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you believe you have been charged twice, charged an incorrect amount, or charged for a purchase that was not properly credited to your account, contact us as soon as possible.
We will investigate the payment and correct genuine billing or fulfilment errors.
8. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact Roamavia support and include the email address associated with your account and enough information for us to identify the relevant purchase.
Please do not send full payment card details by email.
9. Refund method
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.
The time taken for a refund to appear can depend on your bank or payment provider.
