Roamavia

Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 September 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Roamavia, including your account, eSIM, prepaid balance and mobile data services.

By creating an account, purchasing a Roamavia product or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

2. The Roamavia service

Roamavia provides prepaid eSIM connectivity intended primarily for travellers and users who need mobile data across supported countries and networks.

Your Roamavia account may include an eSIM, prepaid Roamavia balance, mobile data usage and related account features.

Mobile connectivity is provided using third-party telecommunications networks and infrastructure. Availability, speed and quality can vary depending on location, device, network conditions, congestion, maintenance and other factors.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating and using your Roamavia account.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account unless that activity results from something Roamavia is legally responsible for.

Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Device requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that your device supports eSIM technology and is not subject to a network lock or other restriction that prevents use of the Roamavia eSIM.

Some devices, operating systems or network settings may require manual configuration.

5. eSIM provisioning

Your first qualifying Roamavia purchase may include the creation and provisioning of a Roamavia eSIM.

A one-time setup fee may apply to your first purchase. The amount will be shown before payment.

You should not delete your Roamavia eSIM from your device unless you are sure you no longer need it or have been instructed to do so by Roamavia support. Reinstallation may not always be possible.

If you request a new Roamavia Global eSIM because you changed phone or deleted the original, a replacement provisioning fee applies. The app displays the exact GBP equivalent of our US$1.75 supplier fee before you confirm and pay. We stop data on the old profile and put your current unused Global credit on the new eSIM, normally shortly after payment. Roamavia advances the supplier balance while the old profile's funds settle in the background. If supplier funds are temporarily unavailable, we show that the request is still processing and provide the new installation link when it is ready.

You can request immediate digital supply at checkout. We charge a card only when the new eSIM is ready, or deduct the displayed fee from available Global credit. Where the eSIM or service is faulty or not supplied, we will provide the remedy required by law without making you pay for a remedy that should be free. See our Refund Policy for the replacement fee and cancellation terms.

6. Roamavia balance

Roamavia balance is prepaid account credit used to access mobile data through the Roamavia service.

Your available balance is shown in your Roamavia account and may decrease as mobile data is consumed.

Roamavia balance is not a bank account, savings product or general-purpose payment account and cannot be used to purchase unrelated goods or services.

7. Prices and payments

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider.

You are responsible for ensuring that the payment method you use is valid and authorised.

Roamavia may refuse or delay a purchase where we are unable to verify payment, fulfil the service, or where fraud or misuse is suspected.

8. Data rates and usage

Roamavia Global pay-as-you-go usage is charged at the current rate of the mobile network actually used. The cheapest country rate shown is a starting price and is not a guaranteed flat rate for every network in that country.

Rates may vary substantially between networks in the same country and may change over time. Automatic network selection can connect your device to a more expensive supported operator. You should check the live network-rate list and manually select a preferred network where coverage and your device allow.

Fixed and unlimited travel plans are charged at the plan price shown at checkout; their price does not change because the eSIM switches between supported networks.

Usage information may not always update instantly due to delays in reporting by network providers or other telecommunications systems.

9. Network coverage

Coverage information is indicative and does not guarantee that service will be available at every location.

Mobile network performance can be affected by factors outside Roamavia's control, including buildings, terrain, network congestion, maintenance, device compatibility and local operator restrictions.

10. Fair and lawful use

You must use Roamavia only for lawful purposes.

You must not use the service in a way that is abusive, fraudulent, unlawful, harmful to networks, or designed to interfere with Roamavia or third-party systems.

We may restrict or suspend service where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security threats or unlawful activity.

11. Service interruptions

We aim to keep Roamavia available and reliable, but continuous or uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed.

Services may be affected by maintenance, outages, supplier issues, telecommunications failures or events outside our reasonable control.

Where a problem is within Roamavia's responsibility, we will take reasonable steps to resolve it.

12. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

You can read the Refund Policy at:

Roamavia Refund Policy

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the extent permitted by law, Roamavia is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including failures or performance issues affecting third-party mobile networks, devices or telecommunications infrastructure.

Roamavia is not intended to replace emergency, safety-critical or guaranteed communications services.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Roamavia where reasonably necessary because of fraud, abuse, security concerns, unlawful use, serious breach of these terms or legal requirements.

We will act reasonably when exercising these rights and will not use them to avoid obligations we owe under applicable law.

15. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update Roamavia, its features, supported networks, prices or these terms from time to time.

Where a change materially affects your rights or an existing service, we will provide notice where required by law.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Roamavia's business in the United Kingdom, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
